After spending an extra day at the Benedictine Center on Friday, I too arrived home to St Paul this Saturday evening. It was a spirit-filled week with the Companions!
I am not surprised if I lose 1-2 things each trip I take. This time it was the loss of my set of house keys (at the Omaha hotel Monday morning?). I am sharing this because after calling my building manager on Tuesday to request a new set, and then a neighbor delivering them to me an hour ago (after-hours this weekend evening), I was reminded of a ‘Key lesson’: we are blessed if we can be part of a community that supports us and encourages us to support others. I feel doubly blessed by my residential community and by being part of the Companions. Thanks be to God.

Although I will miss the overstuffed chairs and man(or woman) eating couches of Conception, The Benedict Center certainly provided a beautiful Spirit filled place for us to meet and have our transitions.
