I want to let everyone know that my dad was admitted to the hospital on Saturday morning with a brain bleed (and likely a small stroke). The bleed was significant but not such that they wanted to do surgery. He seems able to understand what is said to him but he is unable to verbalize any response. He is likely in for a long recovery. I am thankful that I had given the Abbess a heads up about what I was going to say at Chapter regarding Safe Church Training and she was able to share that with you. I will be getting the promised information out to everyone hopefully by sometime next week after we get dad’s care figured out and arranged. Please understand that I will have limited space to respond to any questions this week. Unfortunately this also means I won't be able to be with you at Convocation. I will be praying for all of you as you gather as I know you will be praying for my dad (Arnold), mom (Linda) and myself.
