Dear Companions,

I got one of those phone calls a few minutes ago you never really want
to get, that my mother was taken to an emergency room near Chicago and
is not expected to live much longer. She has been seen by a local priest
for last rites. I would ask the group to say a prayer for her as I do.

Those of you who know me well know my relationship with my mother can be
termed as strained at best and has been for the past 20 years. I tend to
focus on my growing up years and the things she taught me.

I will keep you updated as needed.

Sincerely

Brother Florian
