Dear Brothers and Sisters,
I arrived home this afternoon to find a long, skinny box from amazon and I couldn’t imagine what it could be. When I opened it, it revealed a beautiful wooden walking stick or staff with a nice note attached congratulating me on my jubilee as a solemnly vowed member of the CSL. What a wonderful surprise!
I’m sorry I won’t be able to join you during vespers tomorrow but you will be in my thoughts and prayers. Again, thank you!
