Hello All- especially Bishop Scarfe,
Since our ‘lockdown’, I have been enjoying the Daily Offices not only via CSL’s app but also as provided by the Dean and staff of the Canterbury Cathedral.  Today, as part of his prayers, the Dean included prayers for the Bishop of the Diocese of Iowa, Alan Scarfe.

And as another reminder for me that we truly are all connected in so many ways, pandemic or otherwise, I noted from his bio that Bishop Scarfe was born in Bradford, West Yorkshire, UK — only a few miles from where Sister Karen Elizabeth lives.

As today would have been our last day of Convocation, I will end by wishing our new Bishop Visitor and all our CSL brothers and sisters Godspeed, until we meet ‘face to face’ (in whatever form that takes,
