I think "living in a perpetual Lent" means that each day we reflect on our lives and ministry and when we see a failure or something in us that is disturbing, we face it. We take what we find to God and ask for forgiveness and help, so that we are better able to serve the individuals we meet each day.

Blessings!

P.S. I'm on the way to the hospital to wait with my sister and brother-in-law. My niece is having her first baby, a boy, today. I can't wait to meet him!

Hello Sisters & Brothers,

One possible line of discussion is Chapter 49 of the Rule of St Benedict opens with ‘the life of the monastic ought be a continuous lent’. What does this mean to you?

Blessings in Christ,
