I think that you got the wrong Joseph. No matter, I am willing to attend meeting where ever and then broadcast.

Hi Joseph,

As part of the community's 5-year plan, it was decided members might benefit from smaller, regional gatherings held in locations that might allow those who cannot travel to Missouri to attend. These would probably be shorter in length, more of a long-weekend format, which would also help those who still work.

In additional, it was suggested that we research a possible alternate location for fall convocation, not because there is anything necessarily wrong with Conception Abbey, but simply as a change after almost 20 years of meeting there. I will be asking this group working on the regional meetings to consider any sites they research as possibilities for this as well.

I'm asking Br. John David to gather the group together to begin initial conversations. I'll give him your info, but please feel no obligation if you meet with them a time or two and decide it isn't something you can handle at this time.

Brothers and Sisters,

As you know, one of the tasks of our 5-Year Plan is to explore the possibility of both regional gatherings and potential alternate sites for our fall convocation. I made a call at Chapter for members of a group to start working on this task. So far, I received the following volunteers:

Sr. Janalynn
Nickolaus Grimsby
Br. John David
Br. Jean Baptiste
Br. Ronan

As you can see, the east and west are well represented. Br. Ronan fall somewhere between the east and midwest. While too many people can reduce productivity, it would still be nice to perhaps have representation from the central a nd southeast regions of the country. If this topic interests you, please let me know and I will add you to the list.

Thanks,
Abbess Martha
