Dear Brothers and Sisters,

 

Thank you so much for your prayers! Brother William Marion is in his hospital room recovering from a very successful surgery. We could not ask for a better surgical outcome, thanks be to God! We are praying for the biopsies to come back negative; we’ll have those results in about a week.

 

We have felt covered in prayer and love from our Companions of Saint Luke! Your prayers are effective and we are praising the Lord for such merciful care.

Greetings to all! This morning I have a question. Could someone tell me how to identify an Icon? I have a small Russian icon with a young Jesus standing beside the Virgin Mary. He is pointing to her. I am fairly sure it is Orthodox and possibly Byzantine.. I used to know what it is called ie., St. Mary of _____ maybe. A lovely friend brought it to me from her trip to Russia about 25 years ago. Will attach a photo just in case someone will recognize her.
