Dear Sisters and Brothers,

 

Sr. Mary Francis and Sr. Anna Grace have designed a prayer list that will be distributed this Sunday, July 4, and weekly moving forward.  This is an excellent list that is easy to use, so portions can be used as intercessions when you do your daily offices. The ideas is that you will pray a portion of the list each day of the week.  It is to support your personal intercessions, not replace them. It will be part of our Zoom vespers beginning Monday evening. 

 

We have had a weekly prayer list in the past; but it sort of 'died' due to lack of support from the community.  The Sisters worked hard to create a list that needs your support to continue. Please share special intercessions, not only for the sick or other troubles, but celebratory events as well. Please send these to Sr Mary Francis by Thursday each week at srmaryfrancis@sbcglobal.net

Br. Willard and Sr. Margaret have petitioned me to change their religious names.  I have agreed to the change

Br. Willard will from this point forward will be known as Br. Daniel

Sr. Margaret will from this point forward will be known as Sr. Denise

 

Finally, I must report that Br. Kenneth Maguire has resigned from CSL.  He was a long term member who, in years past, helped Abbot Basil with a personnel issue and organize our safe church training. He represented us with the national committee of Episcopal orders and communities. We wish him well on his new path the Christ.
