Subject: update to Opus Dei

 

I have added a new link to Opus Dei. It’s called ‘Readings from the Desert’. It offers short daily readings from the Desert Fathers and Mothers and each daily reading is supported by short biblical text.  Taken together I have found this to be a strong tool for Lectio Divina. Since it offers a daily reading, the proper day is determined by the date used on you device.

 

It is derived from a book published by Paraclete Press. We have copyright permission to use the readings from the book. But, we have to limit access to CSL membership. So, it’s password protected. Your password is the email address as listed in the November Directory. You’ll only need to enter your password when you access the site for the first time. As long as you access it using the same device, you will not have to enter it again.

 

Enjoy and it is my hope it will offer a new dimension to you meditation and Lectio Divina.
