Dear Brother Robert,

It is so wonderful that this special milestone along your CSL spiritual journey is being acknowledged.  It gives people like me an opportunity to tell you what is in my mind and heart but doesn’t get expressed.  You have been and continue to be an inspiration for me ever since you first interviewed me as an aspirant for CSL membership in 2015 -- and along the way as you assumed various roles within our community.  Although you have a tremendous vocabulary, you seem to be a man of few but well-chosen words and you continue to grow in breadth and depth -- modeling, for me, the Benedictine Way.  The phrase from Micah 6:8 seems to especially suit and describe you: “…and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?”  

May your walking stick and your Companion sisters and brothers be with you as you continue to be a pilgrim and Episcopal Benedictine, whether it be in Spain or in New Hampshire!
